DeDupe vs. DeClutter: When to Use Each
Free Up Space can clear photos or videos from your mobile device once full-quality copies are safely stored elsewhere. Mylio verifies each file has an Original on another device (Vault, Drive, or computer) before removing the image from your iOS Camera Roll or Android Media Library, so nothing is lost.
Go to Settings › Free up space on this device.
Review suggested files.
Tap Free Up Space to confirm.
Mylio Photos comes pre-loaded with several QuickCollections to help you locate and review photos that may need organizing, rating, or deletion. QuickCollections use built-in filters to surface images that likely need attention.

Choose a collection to review.
Use QuickReview to rate, flag, or reject photos.
Delete rejects when done.
QuickCollection Options:
Camera Cleanup: Finds blurry photos or shots where subjects have closed eyes.
Need to Organize: Shows recent photos (last 90 days) that haven’t been rated or flagged.
Review for Cleanup: Displays photos marked with a reject flag or low rating (1–2 stars).
Screenshot Cleanup: Lists PNG files, helping you remove unnecessary screenshots.
Keep your photos safe with automatic backups. You choose how and where your files are stored: locally, on external drives, or securely in the Cloud with Mylio Drive+.

A Vault is any device that holds your entire Mylio Photos Library: Originals, metadata, and catalog.
When you have more than one Vault, they act as your backup, keeping everything safe even if another device is lost or fails.
Popular options include external hard drives, NAS devices, or RAID arrays.
Open Dashboard › Devices › Add Vault.
Choose your storage type: External Drive, Mylio Drive, or Mylio Drive+.
Follow the on-screen setup and confirm.
Mylio automatically keeps Vaults in sync whenever they’re connected.
